This policy describes what Wander.africa collects and why. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- If you subscribe: your email address, and whether you open our emails. That is how a newsletter works.
- If you become a member: the account details you give us, held by our publishing platform.
- Everyone: aggregate analytics about which pages are read and roughly where readers are, used to decide what to write next.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your email address with our commercial partners.
- We do not attempt to identify individual readers from analytics.
Affiliate links
When you follow a commercial link, the destination site sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy. We receive aggregate information about whether a booking happened, not who you are or what you bought.
Newsletters and account email are delivered through our email provider, which processes your address on our behalf under contract. Every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the sending list immediately.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to desk@wander.africa and we will action it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the page's updated date changes with it.
